New Curate

David Baverstock, our new curate to be will be moving into St Thomas’ House at the end of this month. We would like to welcome him in two ways: one is the time honoured tradition of providing a mixed box of groceries to help with initial bills, and the other is by giving him a present of a pyx.  Please bring any groceries to church next Sunday where there will be a box ready to receive them; donations towards the pyx can be passed to the vicar, parish wardens or parish office, as soon as possible please. Thank you.

David will not be working with us until his ordination on 5th July & Fr. Nicholas asks that parishioners do not contact him at this stage to allow him to prepare for his big day & find his way around the area. David will be ordained Deacon at St. Albans Abbey on 5th July at 11.15am. This will be a ticket only service. He will preside over Solemn Evensong here that evening when we will welcome him to the parish. There will be a party afterwards.
