Servers
Would you like to be a server in our parish?
Servers assist at the Altar at all the main services in the parish.
Dressed in cassock and cotta, servers hold a precessional candle at carious times throughout the service and assist the vicar in bringing the bread amd wine to the Altar in preparation of Holy Communion.
Servers are responsible for preparation before the service, lighting candles, and tidying up afterwards.
Servers can be of any age, male or female, and anyone interested should come to the Family Service on a Sunday at St. Peter's at 10.30am and speak to the Head Server, Derek Cole, who will be pleased to answer any questions you may have.
Full training is given and we look forward o welcoming you as a member of our Serving Team.
